  1  Use Fig. 1 and your own knowledge to answer the following questions.  (a) Explain what the term  ‘ ABC1 ’  means. - The term ABC1 tells us what social grade a person is in which lets us know how much their  annual earning is ABC1 is the higher end social grade and this is usually filled with people who make over 50k a year.  Conglomerate- A company that owns subsidiaries an example of a conglomerate is Disney  Distribution- Distrubution is when a company owns a way of distributing an example is with Disney and how they own Disney plus  Synergy- synergy is where two company's come together get the best method of marketing to maximise profit. Horizontal integration-  When a company owns multiple company's in different media sectors  mise-en-scene- The elements of filming such as scenery and props an example of mise en scene is Location and costumes. Composition- blocking is postistion of something in a Frame composition is how we film something  Continuity editing- continuity editing is when the editing is seamless and you don't notice the cuts and editing, the editing looks invisible  Non continuity editing is when you notice the editing and you notice the editing and example of non continuity editing is a montage and flashback
