LO2 advertising and marketing
The media product I have chosen is a game called Call Of Duty Cold war they used above the line marketing through trailers that where on video streaming services for example YouTube and Twitch it was also advertised on bus wrappings, this was because buses go all around towns so this uses of public marketing is really effective.
However they also advertised the game through below the line marketing for example they had done a promotional event through one of the older versions of the game this obviously this attracted pre existing player to buy the game. Treyarch the producer of the game also released early models of the game to the public available for download so people could try the game out they also sent out parcels to content creators such as NoahJ456 and MrDalekJD. Activision and Unilever did a joint venture as Unilever promoted Call Of Duty cold war through Pot Noodle this mutually benefited both companies as many people would buy the pot noodle due to the promotional code that would allow the chance of getting the game for free and also benefited Activision as more people will see the promotion and will know of the game.
