-citizen: A subject of a democratic society that has responsibility to uphold social norms they also have a right to be protected from harm

-consumer: A person that interacts with media products and buy media products

-command and control: Is this idea that those in power such as the government or watch dog organisations that dictate the media we see

-globalisation: the way in which industry has expanded on a global scale                                                                                

-public sphere: where the public have a space where they have freedom of expression and where they can debate

-technological convergence: the coming together to provide services for the audience.
